The name says it all
It started the way most good things do. Out in the middle of nowhere with no phone service, a campfire, and a cold one in hand.
Just a couple from Geelong who've always lived from one extreme to the other. Weekends spent out in the Victorian High Country, mornings down by the water chasing a beach sunrise. Two completely different worlds, same family, same energy.
The name Ridge 2 Reef came naturally. Ridge for the mountains, the bush, the cold crisp mornings up in the high country. Reef for the ocean, the fishing lines, the salt air at sunrise. Everything in between, that's where we live.
A few months ago, we decided to bite the bullet and actually build something. So here we are, a brand born out of Geelong, made for anyone who loves the outdoors.
A couple from Geelong
Never happier than when he's out in the bush or chasing fish at sunrise. The kind of bloke who'd rather spend a weekend off-grid up in the High Country than anywhere else. Campfire going, no phone service, cold one in hand. The ridge side of the brand is all his.
Salt water runs in her veins. Whether it's early morning fishing trips or just being near the ocean, she brings the reef energy to everything Ridge 2 Reef does. She's the reason the brand has as much heart as it does and why every piece feels made for real people living real adventures.
Built on real stuff
The High Country. The bush. Cold mornings where it's just you, the trees, and nothing but open space ahead. We make gear for the people who actually go there.
Early starts, tight lines, salt air and open water. Whether you're fishing the bay or out wide, this one's for the ocean people.
No fluff. No corporate nonsense. Just a couple of Geelong locals who love the outdoors and wanted to build something that actually represents that lifestyle.
Born in Geelong. Inspired by the incredible Australian landscape, from the Victorian Alps to the Southern Ocean right on our doorstep.
The journey so far
Sitting around a fire up in the High Country, the two of us started talking about building something that actually represented the way we live. Split between the mountains and the ocean. The name Ridge 2 Reef just clicked.
Out of Geelong, Victoria, the brand officially came to life. First designs done, first samples ordered. Seeing the logo on an actual tee for the first time was a pretty good moment.
We're in the final stages of getting everything ready. Samples are done, the brand is built. The first drop is coming very soon. Stay tuned, it'll be worth the wait.
